The HydraFacial Sea Coral Peel variant uses a marine enzyme peel instead of acid, making it the most appropriate option for sensitive, reactive, or rosacea-prone skin. The Korean Glass Skin LHA Peel also uses a low-concentration peel appropriate for sensitive skin. Your therapist will assess your skin at the start of every session and adjust accordingly. Always inform your therapist of any known skin sensitivities, allergies, or recent skin reactions before treatment.
A Cryofacial feels cool and refreshing — not painful. The vaporised cryogen is applied in controlled sweeping passes at a set distance from the skin — it never touches the skin directly. The sensation is an intense but comfortable coolness, similar to a cold breeze on the face. Most patients find it invigorating rather than uncomfortable. The treatment takes 20–30 minutes. Immediately after, the skin may look slightly flushed from rebound vasodilation — this is the desired clinical response and resolves within 15–30 minutes, leaving the skin looking fresh and luminous.
It depends on the combination. HydraFacial can be combined with Cryofacial on the same day (Cryo as a finishing step). HydraFacial should not be done on the same day as laser treatments, chemical peels, or injectables — a minimum gap of 2 weeks is recommended. Dermapen + HydraFacial is a combined protocol designed to be performed in the same session. HydraFacial (all variants): no downtime. Mild flushing resolves within 1–2 hours. Return to activities immediately. LHA Peel Facials: no significant downtime. Mild redness for 2–4 hours post-treatment. Some patients notice very mild skin flaking on day 2–3 as the peel effect completes — this is normal and subtle. Dermapen + HydraFacial: mild redness for 24–48 hours, very mild skin roughness on day 2–3. Social presentability by the following morning for most patients. Royal HydraFacial: mild redness for 12–24 hours from the Dermapen component. Most patients describe their skin as 'glowing' by the following day. Cryofacial: no downtime — mild flush resolves in 15–30 minutes.
